Monsters Inc 3: Revenge of the Lightning Lizard

The Lightning Lizard was once the top scarer and the envy of the monster world. However, after becoming power hungry and trying to get massive amounts of scream to take over the world, he was banished. Mike marries Ceila and thinks look great for him and Sully. However, unbeknownest to them, the Lightning Lizard is making a comeback by joining forces with an old foe, Randall.

Mike and Sully were at Monster University. True, they'd been expelled, but they were still welcome back as alumni by Dean Hardscrabble. Having discovered that laughter was more powerful than scream, they had revolutionized the energy collection industry and ended the scream shortage.

They were given the Monster Award, the top award given by Monster University. After the ceremony, Sully passed a statue of a figure he had seen there often but hadn't bothered to look into, having first been too lazy to do research and then too busy with the Scare Games to look into the matter. Dean Hardscrabble passed by.

"I've been wondering, who is he? He was given some award for scaring." asked Sully.

"Yes, that is Robert Scaringsworth. He was the holder of the all-time scare record at Monsters Inc. and was a valedictorian in his graduating class here at Monster University. Sadly, he chose the wrong path." replied Hardscrabble.

"What do you mean?" asked Sully, interested. He'd heard the name Scaringsworth before, as it was all over the factory which Sully now ran. Scaringsworth had won a lot of awards. Sully had wondered why there was no pictures of him though, as other scarers had gotten for their achievements.

"He was a great scarer. The best out there. But he used his collection of scream to try and take over the world. He built many machines in secret. He had been plotting to steal the scream in the factory of Monsters Inc. Had he succeeded, he could easily have taken over Monstropolis, and, given enough time, the entire world, with that much energy." she said.

"So, they got him?" asked Sully.

"Yes, he was banished from the Monster world. The Lightning Lizard passed from memory." replied Hardscrabble. "He was great while he was good. His powers of forming electricity were quite scary to the kids. However, some think he became so good at being scary that he became warped. He enjoyed fear too much. He sought to get others to fear him. He wanted power." continued Hardscrabble.

As Sully and Mike left Monster University, for both of them, especially Mike, had something very important to get to, they were unaware that the Lightning Lizard would make a comeback and once more endanger the monster world.
