I've Been On Both Sides

Prologue
As I punched the gears into sixth, and drained every single drop of nitrous, I approached the abandoned bridge in no time. I don't know what I felt, a mixture of grief, bitterness, annoyance, and also a dash of adrenalin, a dose of tension, and pressure. I honestly didn't know. Voices were singing in my head as I saw red and blue flashing lights outside my windscreen. They were right on my tail, and I could feel them trying to grip my neck and throw me onto the ground.
'You're not that far away,' Lissa spoke hurriedly into the phone, 'get out of town, now!'
I drifted through the mountainous hairpins, my turbocharger trying its best to hold on. I was making it work overtime, and I seriously didn't want it slacking. I saw the flashing lights coming closer, one rear-ended me, but it wasn't enough to take down the mighty GT-R. One went side by side with me through a hairpin, and I caught a glimpse of his face. He looked like the generic fat ass cop, who did everything he can to get his hands on a donut. I felt disgusted to be chased by novices, so I just rammed him off the road, and I enjoyed that feeling as he fell a thousand feet.
The abandoned bridge came in sight. I was out of nitrous, and my turbo was giving up. My tyres were dead, and my brain was exhausted. A ramp, physics, a huge gap, and a rough landing section just separated me from freedom, well, at-least for a short while. An interceptor Corvette car came chasing me down, and was on pace with my GT-R. The ramp getting closer, I closed my eyes, and feeling the sweat dripping right through me, I used the last of my nitrous as I went up the ramp.
And then it was like I was dead, I saw literally nothing except for the sky, the Corvette had chickened out at the last moment. Like a puppet, I hanged motionless, between a huge gap of an abandoned bridge.
