Hey! Short prompt by someone on tumblr. Let me know what you think and what you'd like to see. It can be these two idiots, Fitzsimmons, Staticquake, Gallya, Romanogers just let me know. Enjoy x

They were stuck. Coulson had specifically stated that they were to let themselves get caught and that the second half of this mission's tactical team would be there to rescue them. "All part of the plan" the director had said: them getting caught was supposed to relax the guards on the base (who had already been expecting them, no thanks to Malik) and then S.H.I.E.L.D. would take them by surprise. Within the hour, Coulson had said. It's been three. In the initial tousle Lance had managed to split his lip, break a toe and get a black eye; Bobbi almost got a knife in the eye, leaving her with a bleeding temple. Luckily the guards had been stupid enough to keep them in the same room, even if they were tied up.

"How long has it been?" Bobbi asked, her watch had broken in the fight.

"Long enough. They'll be back for another round soon and this time they'll have the advantage." Lance lifted his bound hands in emphasis.

"They probably got intercepted by some agents. Relax."

"I'm not going to bloody relax when we're bloody sitting ducks in a bloody cellar bloody well waiting for the bloody rest of the bloody team to bloody well get us out of this bloody compound."

"Colourful, Hunter." Bobbi rolled her eyes, chiding the mercenary.

"What?! Tell me you're not bothered by how late they are."

"Of course I'm worried but it doesn't mean I have to talk like that."

Hunter was about to respond when footsteps came into earshot outside the door. One of the various thugs they had assaulted earlier sauntered in, crowbar in hand, his nose bruised and crooked.

"Did ice help then?" Hunter asked sarcastically, earning him a smack in the ribs with the crowbar, "Budget cuts or something?" Hunter wheezed, gesturing at the weapon. The guard lifted the thing to hit him a second time when a distinct rumble was heard followed by the ceiling giving way slightly.

"About bloody time." Hunter breathed, still recovering from the strike. The distant rumbles turned into louder and louder explosions and the guard left to help defend the compound. Mack soon arrived to cut them loose, supporting Hunter's weight as they made it to the exit.

"After this, I say a vacation is in order. A long one." The mercenary groaned.

"What? So we can get bored on a stupid island for a month?" Bobbi bit back.
"I was actually thinking skiing but whatever."

"Now you're talking."

"Can we save this second honeymoon planning til we get on the jet please?" Mack chipped in.

"We never got to go on first one. Bob decided a mission was more important."

"Oh god, here we go." Bobbi muttered but Hunter carried on, letting go of Mack.

"Look, all I'm saying is: why not actually go on our honeymoon? We've only got the rest of our lives Bob, and that's probably not a very long time for people like us."

"Lance Hunter, are you re-proposing to me, again?"

"Only 'cause I'm still waiting for you to say yes, love."
