Hello everyone, TheStoryWizard here, initially I had planned to outline ten stories leading up to this in my Tales of the Avatar World series, but after several months of planning, it seems best to simply use elements from those stories and place them into this television sized plot line to provide more depth. My Tales of the Avatar World stories will however, continue to be available for reading, but only those under Rewrites, are tied to the canon of this full-length story.

Synopsis: Set Six Months after the events of Book 4, Korra returns to Republic City just in the nick of time, crime is rampant, the Red Lotus has returned, hooded assassins are targeting world leaders and everything seems tied to an even darker purpose. Korra will have to make unexpected allies, but time is of the essence and not everyone can be trusted.

A New Earth Republic has been established, but is not without it's own political turmoil

Zaheer will play a key role in the story

The Political Landscape of Republic City will once again be altered

Mako has been promoted in the Police Force, joined unwillingly by his brother Bolin

Varrick's eccentric ego will continue to run rampant as it normally does (and why not, everyone loves Varrick)

Katara and Zuko will both return for another appearance

Korra and Asami's relationship will continue to develop

The story will be the standard twenty chapters or "episodes" which will be divided into multiple chapters so as to prevent chapters of extreme length. Each "Episode" will feature an Epilogue, bringing to light a specific event or plot point that is important to the storyline (similar to what happens at the end of CW's The Flash)

An Origin Story for the Red Lotus will be included

Multiple incarnations of the Avatar will play a role in the story, some faces will be familiar, while others will be original characters.

Toph will also return for another appearance, and will make another attempt to win the Earth Rumble Championship Belt (much to the chagrin of her daughters)

Other Characters (who shall remain nameless) that we have not seen a while will also return, both from the era of Aang and of Korra.
