Title: Hands and Feet
Characters: Ianto, Rhiannon
Rating: G
Challenge: tw100, Challenge #151: Locked in a Room
Summary: As siblings, Ianto and Rhiannon know that they hate each other. But that doesn't mean they can't love each other as well.
A/N: As many issues as I had with Children of Earth, the one thing I adored was Ianto's family, in particular his relationship with Rhiannon. As an older sister myself, this fiction is heavily modelled on my own relationship with my little brother.
Hands and Feet
"Brothers and sisters are as close as hands and feet."
~ Vietnamese Proverb
Ianto whimpered as his sister pummelled the broken door with her fists, his bottom lip quivering.
"Will you stop crying!" Rhiannon turned angrily, cheeks flushed. "That's all you ever do!"
Tears spilled onto his cheeks.
"I…I can't," he sobbed, muffled by his knees. "I d-don't like it."
Suddenly an arm came around him, pulling him into soft cotton. He could smell talcum powder. It was nice, he thought, burying his face into the warmth.
By the time their screeching parents forced the door open, Ianto was asleep in the blanket of Rhiannon's heat.
Because his sister wasn't so bad, really.
