Leon sat there feeling rather depressed. His apartment was quiet, the news on the television was absolute crap and no one he knew seemed to be in the mood to be him with him causing loneliness that caused the depressed feelings. Running a hand through his hair he got up to go to his room and sleep since he knew nothing was a better option as this point.
But then a knock came from the door, and a hearty, loud voice boomed "Oi! Blondie dearest, open up!" He groaned and went to the door, and opened it. As soon as he did he received a bear hug from the much larger man.
"Sweetie! I've missed you!"
"Hello Chris."
"You look very well."
"Cut the shit, come in and let's drink."
The brunette smirked and wrapped his arms around the other, "Someone's in a hostile mood. Tell me what's wrong as we drink."
Leon simply nodded as he grabbed the beer from the refrigerator and set it on the island he had in his kitchen and grabbed a stool sitting himself done next to Chris. "So tell me, whats on your mind?" Chris asked grabbing a beer. "Nothing really.." Leon mumbled and sipped his own. "Fine I'll get you drunk and then you'll spill the beans." The other looked over with a questioning look, "I didn't catch that, what Chris?" He threw the blonde a dazzling smile, "Nothing, let's toast. To well, nothing in particular!" They clinked cans and took a drink each.
Later On
Leon swayed back and forth on the stool as he threw his eighth can of beer across the room, "Fuck the can!" Chris chuckled and took the rest of the beers and put them in the refrigerator.
"That's enough buddy."
"The fuck you mean that's enough!?" His words were slurred ad his cheeks flushed.
"I mean it Leon, c'mon. I'll tuck you in and put a 'Hangover Kit' on your bed stand for tomorrow morning and go."
Chris went to grab the blonde but he tried dodging and slipped on some of the beer that spilled on the floor. "Leon!" Chris caught his wrist and pulled him to his chest. "Jesus.. That decides it, c'mon." He threw him over his shoulder and walked to the bedroom. Leon whined all the way and even to the point when he was getting tucked in. Chris sat down next to him and ran his hand lightly over the others forehead. "Before I go, what was on your mind?" The drunk Leon being much more open than his sober self half sat up and started to say. "Well, ya see no one likes me." Chris frowned, "You're a very likable person Leon, c'mon." The blonde, mostly due to drunkenness burst into tears, "You're a big fat liar Chris! A l-liar!" Leon pounded his fists on the others chest crying, "No one likes me! I have nothing! No one to love, or to be loved! It sucks!" Chris grabbed his fists and looked down. "Hey, stop..." He released his hands and wiped a tear off of his cheek. Leon looked up doing the drunken sob Chris didn't hate but didn't quite like either. "I like you, okay? You're my best friend.. I love you." Chris waited for Leon to then respond to him with his heartfelt declaration of love but instead he smiled and practically passed out on Chris' chest. "Great.. I just confessed my love and he fell asleep. Happily fucking after for me..." Chris looked down and ran a hand through Leon's hair gently. "Love you..." He murmured before switching his position so he was laying down and Leon was resting against him with one of Chris' arms put sloppily around his waist. Chris then fell asleep praying Leon would remember it in the morning.
Chris woke up to the smell of pancakes and syrup. It was put nicely on a fold out table and there was a sticky note next to the cup of coffee. Leon's writing clearly read "I love you too. Once you finish breakfast come and meet me in the shower." Then Leon went as far as putting a smile with a winking eye next to it as well. "Maybe I do get to live happily ever after," he said gulping down some coffee and a bite of pancake and ran to see his Leon.
