My first try at writing stories/oneshots in about a year... XD; I'm very self-concious about what I write.
Disclaimer - I do not own the characters of Keroro Gunso. However, I roleplay as Momoka on the Keroro Roleplay Group on deviantArt.
Momoka sobbed, clutching at her butler's black suit. No objections were made as the tears stained the fine leather, and not when the little girl's dirty hands left muddy patches on the clean white undershirt. Her frilly dress had turned from a light pink to a murky brown, and her matching hat was nowhere to be seen. One of her shoes was missing, and the hem of her petticoat was ripped.
"Pauru... Pauruuu..." she wailed, rubbing her eyes. The old man gave her back a reassuring pat, but remained silent. This continued for a while, before she had managed to choke out a few understandable words, such as "other kids", and "hat", and "ouchies". Paul just nodded, his eyes closed as usual and his face set firm.
"Th-they called me a spoiled brat," she wibbled. "A-An' then one boy ripped my n-new dress...."
"Petticoat, Ojou-sama."
"Same thing!" Momoka pounded her little fists into the butler's chest gently. "J-Just 'cuz Daddy has lots of munny!"
Paul nodded once again, allowing her to continue. She rubbed her face on the back of her arm, wiping away her tears. "A-An' they said I could go back to the stupid castle I came from... so then I told them that my house is just around the corner, an' they got really mad an' started to chase me...!" she sniffled. "A-And I ran b-but my shoe fell off, and... and....."
Momoka trailed off, waiting for her butler's reaction. When none came, she let out a wail of frustration, and buried her face in her arms.
She was coaxed out of her crying by a soft touch on her right cheek, and looked up to see him wordlessly rubbing her face with a handkerchief.
They were both silent for a long time, until Momoka's face was completely clean of mud and tears.
Paul straightened up, taking the young girl's hand in his gloved one. "Just remember one thing, Ojou-sama."
"What's that?"
"Princesses don't cry."
