Dave couldn't control his smile as he steps out of his car cradling a armful of groceries as he uses his foot to close his door behind him, knowing that the front door is unlocked he doesn't even bother with digging into his pocket to retrieve the keys.
Pushing open the door he's greeted by six eager faces all of which belong to six chipmunks all perched on the top of the couch, " Did you get more toaster waffles?" Theodore asks immediately the look on his indicating that he had yet to eat breakfast and that he wouldn't unless it was toaster waffles, "Yes," Dave answers pulling out one of many boxes he had bought, all six rodents cheer happily at the news.
"Oh I also found a few things that caught my attention," the chipmunks all exchange curious glances at the excitement in their guardian's voice, placing the bags on the counter Dave begins to riffle through them using his back to block their view, "See!" turning around Dave beams at them as the presents the famous rock stars with plush stuffed toys of themselves.
"You cloned us!" Alvin screeches making the man roll his eyes, "No Alvin I didn't, I saw these at the store, I didn't even know they went through with making them," handing over the stuffed toys to their real life personas Dave watches on beaming proudly as each rodent inspects their toy models.
"I'm way cooler then this," Alvin says shaking his head as he turns his toy around wrinkling his small nose in distaste, "Yeah, and my hips aren't this big," Brittany chimes in glaring daggers at her doll's waist.
"They're toys," Dave sighs glancing towards the two bespectacled munks, " What do you guys think?" Dave questions like a child.
Simon grins up at their human father and shrugs, " They are nice, I like the detail," he admits as he studies the alikeness of his doll, "Yeah they did an amazing job," Jeanette adds on playing with the fringe of both her's and her dolls skirts.
"AH they're so cute!" Eleanor exclaims squeezing her's to death while Theodore dances with his, "Neat!" the green-eyed chipmunk exclaims.
Alvin takes a closer look at his doll then grins widely, "I can use you as a decoy," he mutters to the chipmunk sized replica before tucking it firmly under his arm and taking off, Brittany purses her lips as she also peers at the plushier closer, she suddenly beams and turns to Dave.
"Thank you! Now I have a better model then those one's meant for humans!" the pink clothed chipette exclaims before skipping out of the room telling her doll everything she was going to try on.
Dave grins at his six furry children then pales slightly for a moment, what if I'll mistake one of the dolls for the real ones?
