Haruhi was almost falling asleep in class.
Karou asked, "What's wrong Haruhi? Did you not get enough sleep last night?"
Haruhi replied, "Yeah, I was up late studying."
Hikaru said, "Well, here! Have an energy drink, it'll help."
Haruhi was a little suspicious, since she had never had an energy drink before and since Hikaru was the one offering it but she was really tired and needed to stay awake so... She accepted.
(2 hours later at lunch) *Haruhi bounces into the lunchroom* "Hi! Hi! Hi! Hi!" She waved at everyone she passed. They all gave her weird looks. Hikaru and Karou were already used to this behavior since it started about an hour an a half ago...
Flashback
"Ms. Fujioka?" the teacher asked.
"Hai? Hai! Hai! You want me to answer the question? I know the answer! Wooo! This is really great. I love being so energetic! Can I go run in the hallways for a bit? I'm really really hyper!" She replied.
"Ms. Fujioka... We're in the middle of class." Sensei said.
"Okay, so then I'll just bounce in the corner..." Haruhi said sadly. Hikaru and Karou looked at each other with a smile at first but then when she was still bouncing in the corner an hour later they got really tired of it.
End of Flasback
(Back in the Lunchroom)
Haruhi bounced over to them and said, "I'm hyper! I got an energy drink from Hikaru and at first I was like really tired but now I'm really hyper! I guess it takes a while for it to pass through my blood stream. Before I was falling asleep but now I'm awakkkeee! Like really really awake and I want to do jumping jacks... Oh, but that would look weird wouldn't it? Uhmmm. What wouldn't look weird, Daddy? Running around? Hmm. Oh, look there's a line I wanna see what they're doing!" She talked faster than a chipmunk on coffee.
Tamaki looked at her dumbstruck but he was happy that she called him Daddy. Even Kyoya, the rational one, was not expecting this. Huni looked like he wanted to bounce with her but then watching her a bit even he got a little tired. Hikaru and Karou walked up to the Host Club and smiled... Then their faces looked really tired.
Hikaru said, "She's been like this for two hours. In class she was jumping up and down and the teacher made her stand in the corner!"
Karou replied, "Yeah! We thought she'd be dead by now but no! She's still going! She's like the energizer bunny she won't stop!"
All of the Host Club, besides Hikaru, Karou and Haruhi (since she wasn't there), laughed. Huni said, "A trick turned back on you huh?"
Tamaki said, "That's karma!"
(an hour and a half after lunch and three minutes before the bell rang for school to be out) "Hey, Hikaru! Karou! Have you finshed your homework yet? I have! And I've even studied for a bit. You've finished your homework, right? I mean you should fi-" Haruhi dropped dead to the floor and Hikaru and Karou's first thought was finally. Then they checked to see if she still had a pulse, which she did, and then they brought her home so she could sleep it off. Kyoya made the twins make up for Haruhi's absence.
Mori asked, "Have you learned your lesson?"
They replied, "Yeah, never give Haruhi an energy drink!"
