Preface
We where all going to die.
We arrived too late this time. the fight had already started.
We started running in to the battle after saying our last goodbyes in case this ended badly.
Chapter one: Mistake
(Jaspers PoV)
No matter how hard you try to change, sometimes you just can't escape your past.
Its been over 60 years since me and Alice had joined this family and this lifestyle and I still can't control my self properly.
I was thinking About the time 3 years ago we where living in Columbus , Ohio.
Since I had't been near many humans since Bella became a vampire it was hard to go back to high school again...I remember that day almost too perfectly.
It was in woodshop...someone had cut them self on one of the tools...and then I flew across the room and drank every last drop of blood in the human girls body. that just proves how much of a monster I am.
because I had forced my family to move again. we are currently living in Montreal, Quebec Canada.
To get my mind off things...before I think of every mistake I had ever made I go to the bath room to take a shower.
Vampires don't really need them but do it anyway out of habit...much like breathing.
After I get out I go down stairs and saw Alice and Esme putting thanksgiving decorations up.
"Hello Jasper" Esme turned her head and smiled at me.
"Have you seen Emmett anywhere ?" I asked.
"Yes he is outside with Edward and Jacob...why?" Esme answered
" 'Cause I would like to tell him to stop leaving all these strange notes all over the house" I said.
just as I said that Emmett came in the room holding piece of paper and said "whats with these notes ...this is the third one I found this month"
"Well...we were just kinda thinking you were behind all the notes...thats why Jasper was looking for you..."Alice said , speaking for the first time since I came in the room.
I sensed something off in the room so I asked "Em...are you scared ?" I asked ,a bit shocked.
"No...yeah...maybe...its just I did't leave the notes" Emmett said.
"Em could you hand me that note?" Alice said.
"Sure" he replied.
Emmett handed Alice the note and then her face went blank.
"Alice...Darlin'...what do you see" I asked.
"Edward!"She called.
He was at our side in less then 5 seconds.
"So there coming back ?" He asked ,worry in his tone.
"I am not sure...I have't been able to see Aros decisions that well lately...its like somethings blocking things...the visions are fuzzy when do come in..."She trailed off
"Well I am calling Carlisle...so him,Rose,Bella and Nessie can get back from Hunting...I am calling a family meeting"Edward said , grabbing his cellphone out of his jacket pocket.
When Edward was on the phone I asked Alice what she had seen when touched the note.
"I saw a man...in black Hooded uniform...near our house..."
I did't have to read minds to understand what she was thinking.
The volturi are up to something.
Sorry about the small chapter...the next one will be alot longer.
