Dream
I remember all that happened two months ago. We parted ways. While the rest walked away, I stopped and look at you. Your bright red hair flew with the wind as you looked at me and smiled. Mouth the words "We'll meet again." Trusting your words, I smiled believing in you. We will meet again. I turned and ran to catch up with the rest. When we were far from where you were, there was a glaring bright light. But it slowly became warm, kind. A feeling I can't put in words.
A gentle breeze brushed past my face as I waited for you in this field where we were brought to. You should see how beautiful the flowers here are. Their petals so white as if they were pure and innocent. Just like how you were when we first met. I admit that you were spoiled and arrogant, wanting everyone to give you their attention and follow your every order.
But let's forget about that part. You did grow throughout the journey. I looked into the clear blue sky as I felt another breeze pass through my hair. I can remember every single time I spent with you throughout our journey. Remember them so clearly as if it just only happened a few hours ago. But sometimes, I can't help but wonder if everything was just a dream of mine.
Sometimes, I can't help but doubt what you told me that day. I know I should trust you, but I can't help but to feel this way. My chest tightens thinking what if your not in this world anymore. I can't see you again, I can't see your excited face as you run through the town looking at the stores like a small child who just found something interesting.
As the sky started to darken, proving that the night is approaching slowly, I took a breathe and sang;

I stood up as I finished the song. I stood still for a moment and turned to walk away when I heard a soft voice echoing
"We'll meet again. I promise. So please wait till then" I turned my head when I hear it, it sounded like you voice. But there was no one there. Just the field of flowers and grasses. I smiled to myself. Your right, even if I doubt about what you said, I will still wait for you.
"We will. Until then, I will wait for you. We'll all wait for you" I whispered under my breathe as I turned away and walked away, humming the melody of the song I just sang. I will wait for you no matter how long it takes. And when that day comes, I will tell you, tell you that I love you.
