The Doctor sat, lounged about on the couch in the library, feet propped up on the coffee table. His glasses sat on his nose as he skimmed through the book, hardly reading it. Donna sat across from him her own posture matching his but was reading a carefully located magazine that the TARDIS had managed to find for her.

She was in the middle of reading an article about god knows what when-

"HEY!" he suddenly exclaimed loudly, causing her to jump and scowl at him which he ignored.

"They stole my suit!" he pouted and practically leapt over the armrest and stood in front of her, shoving the book in her face.

"I can't see it when you're shoving it in my face! Give it here..." she sighed, prying it from his hands.

She skimmed through the book, trying to find what he was so upset about.

"What am I supposed to be looking at?" she asked curiously, flicking pages.

He mumbled something about humans and plucked the book from her hands, flicking back to show her.

"See?!" shoving the book back into her hands and pointing at a paragraph.

She followed his finger and then battered it away so she could read it properly.

"Oh," Violet said, as she opened her present

"Oh," Klaus said, as he opened his.

"Oh," Sunny said, as she tore open her shopping bag with her teeth.

"Pinstripe suits! I knew you'd be excited!"

"What's so bad about it?" Donna asked, peeling herself from the book and glancing at him.

"Nothing! They just stole my suit!" he repeated, sitting on the arm of her chair.

"Aw, are you jealous?" she teased, playfully slapping his arm.

The Doctor scowled at her and shook his head childishly, snatching the book off her and jumping back into the couch, sulkily. Deliberately, he sat facing her, his legs now propped up and crossed against the arm of the couch, his back resting on the other arm and the book held up in front of him, skimming through the book once again.

Donna rolled her eyes and smirked, returning to her book. While she was reading she found the Doctor glancing at her every five minutes, as if checking to see if she had moved. She caught his eye in the middle of one of his glances and he hastily returned his gaze to the page.

This went on for about 10 more minutes before he started being childish and making huffing noises. Sighing, she put her book down to his delight and moved to sit on the armchair where his head was resting. The Doctor acted as if he hadn't noticed her movement but she could see him glancing at her arm that was holding on the couch above him.

Finally, the Doctor decided to acknowledge her and put his book down on his chest, looking back at Donna.

"Ello.." he said with a sly grin.

"Ello..." she returned with a smirk, leaning on the hand that was on the couch above him.

Silence followed this, his own thoughts running through how to word the next sentence.

"I'm not jealous..." he said suddenly, pouting.

"Pfft, yeah right, you're the most jealous time lord I've ever met" she said, raising her eyebrows.

"Hey, hang on! I'm the only time lord you've ever met!" he acted hurt but followed it with a grin.

"Mmm, that's true and you're the only one to manage to actually pull off pinstripes and still look sexy," Donna laughed, kissing his head and getting off the armchair.

It only took a minute to process what she had just said when he bolted upright, the book sliding off him as he stood upright.

"You find me in pinstripes sexy?" he tilted his head in mock curiosity.

She glanced back, resting momentarily on the doorjamb and only smiled before going down the corridor.
