Try as i
Might, i can never forget
You. try as i
Might, i can never let you
Go.
And whilst the sounds of battle
Rage outside the
Castle, i can think only of
You.
Think of your soft
Hair, your warm
Eyes, the way you used to hold
Me when i hurt, love me when i was
Well.
As i make my way through
War, through
Peace, through
Struggle, it is you that keeps me
Strong.
There have been
Others. other
Women, all wanting to be
Mine. but you were the only one i ever
Wanted.
And now you are
Gone. in a flash of glory you left
Me. alone, i am
Nothing.
But try as i
Might, i can never forget
