A Burping Contest
On a Tuesday afternoon, nearing the end of school at Empire State University, two of Peter Parker's friends, Mary Jane Watson and Gwen Stacy, meet outside and chat.
"Hey, Gwen. What's up." Mary Jane said.
"Nothing much. I'm just walking home. Do you want to come?"
"Sure."
"So, MJ, do you have a soda or something. I'm thirsty." Gwen asked.
"Yeah. I have two Pepsis. Here you go."
"Thanks."
"*urp* Excuse me." Gwen burped.
"Weak." Mary Jane said.
"What?" Gwen asked, puzzled.
"Watch this. *BURP*" MJ pressed her hand on her chest and burped louder.
"That was without the soda."
"Gross." Gwen said disgusted.
"I'd like to see you do better." Mary Jane said.
"Fine, try this." Gwen sucked in air and burped. "*BBBUURRRPPP*"
"You want to play that way?" MJ replied. She sucked in air and burped louder. "*BBBBBUUUUURRRRRRRPPPPPP!*"
"Now, we can use soda." Gwen said as she drank her Pepsi. "*!*"
Mary Jane cracked open her Pepsi and took a big gulp then breathed deeply. "*!*"
"Whoa." Gwen widened her eyes in amazement. "I can still win." She then downed a quarter of soda. "*!* Beat that."
"Gladly. *!*" Mary Jane burped much louder.
"Listen to this." Gwen took a long swig of soda and let out an echoing and earth shaking belch. "*!*"
"Gosh. That will be tough to beat." MJ said as she took a long sip of her soda, put her hand on her throat and let out a loud, drawn-out burp. "*!*"
Gwen desperately gulped down the rest of the soda in her light can and belched one more time. "*!*"
"Oh? Listen to this." MJ said as she chugged down the rest of her Pepsi and pushed out a monstrously loud burp. "*!*"
"I don't think I can top that." Gwen laughed.
"*!*" Mary Jane burped again and bowed , making Gwen laugh louder.
"Looks like I win, Gwen." Mary Jane said.
"Yeah, you totally win." Gwen agreed.
"So, do you want to have a rematch tomorrow?" Mary Jane said.
"Yes, and I'm going to win." Gwen answered.
