Author's Notes: Just another quickie, because thinking about Supernatural was too painful.

"We shouldn't be too long. By the way, this is-."
"A car, I am aware. I have ridden in such manner of machine before."
Bruce's jaw slacked slightly, the smaller man staring at the Asgardian in unveiled surprise. "Really? When?"
The God of Thunder's lip twitched with a memory.
Well, it hadn't been so terrible, and for the most part quite pleasant.
It had started with the simple conquest of gathering supplies for Selina's friend, Adelaide. Adelaide's own vehicle was out of commission, and being unable to make the trip herself had forced the red head to appeal to her friend for help.
"So, Adelaide's… car? It is known as "Fail Whale"?"
Selina rummaged through her purse as they descended the steps from their apartment building. "Mm-hmm."
"So, this car? It is a whale?"
"What? No. It's a mazda." The dark skinned woman, finally securing the means to begin their journey, looked up at him quizzically. "She calls it that because she's had it since she was fifteen and refuses to work properly. That and she spends too much time on the internet."
"Ah, the internet." And he left it at that, for it was a subject he did not like to broach often. Thor was very aware it was a useful tool, but there were too many kittens for him to take any of it too seriously.
Selina did something with the keys now clutched in her hands, and one of the cars parked on the curb beeped in response. Thor, not expecting this and not really having paid much attention to these things before, jumped into a battle ready position. His girlfriend was quick to point at finger at him in warning. "Don't even think about it. You so much as scratch the paint, and you'll be eating food from a straw for the next few weeks."
And with that in mind, Thor had not taken to doing anything drastic in an attempt to protect his woman from the beast. Which, once seated inside of, was actually quite comfortable.
Being such a good friend Selina had agreed to drive to the Island of Staten, something she had passed off as not being such a big deal. The drive over had been spent answering all of his questions, as well as pointing out things to him about the vehicle itself. She was particularly keen on his reaction to the "radio" and her "air conditioning", but of which he had liked tremendously.
"Why does it blink like that?"
Selina seemed to be otherwise occupied, but still answered: "Just letting the other cars know I'm changing lanes, helps keep everyone from bumping into each other." The sound coming from the speakers changed. "Yeah, baby!"
Which Thor contemplated for a long moment, before asking: "What does it mean to… move like Jagger?"
He always did like to hear her laugh.
