A/N: So this came to me this morning in Newspaper when I was supposed to be brainstorming for my next article. I know it's short, but I wanted to see if anyone would read the story first.
London had been fun while it lasted, but Mom decided to send me back to Gallagher early. She was worried about letting me out of her sight even though I had been under the protection of Bex's parents. I guess that's how mothers are, whether they're spies or not.
I had one week before the others came back, and I had already helped all of the teachers. Chef wanted me to try out some of his new dishes in an hour, so I had a little time to kill. I decided to check out the new security Mom said they had gotten while I was in London.
A little way into my inspection, I got the feeling someone was watching me. I turned to see if Mom or one of the teachers needed me, but no one was there. This had been happening since I left with Bex, and I had mentioned it in London to her. She said it was probably paranoia and I was suspecting everyone as Circle of Cavern, but I didn't think this was paranoia.. It felt like someone was tailing me. But how could that happen at Gallagher?
I made the snap decision to turn on my tail. If someone was following me, I wanted to know why. I took a right down the hall towards the library and swiftly, as only a pavement artist could do, I slipped into one of my hiding places in the wall. Then I watched, waiting for something to go by that could be my tail.
Suddenly I saw a shadow, showing that someone was about to walk by. As I hadn't heard anyone coming before, I took that this was my tail. When it got closer I jumped out, pinning the follower down on his stomach. I could tell that it was a male, but I couldn't see the face.
Glancing briefly at the hand, checking for a CoC ring, I turned him over.
A/N: Cliffy! Like I said before, I want to know if anyone likes this so I'll update again if I get...5 reviews.
