Part 4

Something about her/Something about him

"I had no idea where I was going. I was blind, so I didn't see her. Still...there's always something about her."

The redhead tried to slow down. But her horse kept going. And going. And going. Until, she crashed into another rider. The girl had short brown hair. Much tamer than her own, but still messy. She stood and looked at her. She had no idea what to say, and it seemed, neither did she.

"The lights were incredible, not like the ones back home. And then, she crashed into me. Still...there's something about her."

The brunette yelled as another rider collided with her. Her wild, curled, red hair was everywhere. The brunette stood and dusted herself off. The redhead stood and turned to her. They stood in silence, neither wanting to speak first.

"I was scared, when I woke up. I had no idea who the boy with me was. But...there's something about him."

The white haired boy wanted to scramble off the dragon. But he didn't. He couldn't. The person with him, was looking at him. With an emotion he hadn't seen in years. He was worried about him. Truly worried, and mixed in with that, was a caring, and somewhat protective, feeling.

"He looked scared. Like he wanted to curl up and beg me not to hurt him. Something must have happened. The look in his eyes...still, there's something about him."

The rider wanted to reach out to the boy, wanting to comfort him, but held back, not wanting to scare him. He reminded him of Toothless, when he was shot down. The hurt in his eyes, something that still haunted the rider's heart. And he promised himself, no one would have that look in their eyes, not while he was around.

"A meeting can lead to many things. Even...to someone other than myself. And, still...
