Demons
The life of a dark pokemon is one riddled in shadows and mysteries. Darkness pokemon are said to be omens of death and disaster but that isn't true. I should know because I am an Umbreon.
I know for a fact that an Absol does not bring disaster in it's wake. Sure it looks like a cat with strange red eyes but I think that is a trait of all dark types. It isn't like you see an Absol cross your path and the next thing you know is that the sky is falling or something of that nature. That is just more of your stupid human superstition. A murcrow does not purposely lure human travelers into their forest, the human just randomly decides to follow it. Pokemon aren't stupid you know.
At least there aren't any superstitions about Umbreons. We are just considered demons. I guess people don't like our eyes. So what if they are red, blood red to be more precise. and our rings, I guess they are good at night or something. We can have vicious tempers sometimes but that does not make us demonic. I really don't know why I ramble so much. I guess it is just to make you humans understand the dark pokemon a little better.
