KH – KH
After Sora, Riku, and Kairi went back to the islands, things were almost exactly the way they had been before their adventures.
One evening, Sora and Kairi were walking along the beach, looking out at the sunset. Kairi sighed, "This is so romantic, isn't it Sora?"
"Yeah…"
"Listen Sora…" Kairi said, suddenly acting shy. "I need to tell you something."
"What is it?"
"Sora, I…I love you." She whispered.
'I love you, Sora. I know that you don't feel that way about me, and you most likely never will, but I had to tell you."
"Riku…" Sora whispered, he couldn't believe what he was hearing.
"You don't have to say anything. I know that you're in love with Kairi… you have been ever since she came here." Riku said; Sora didn't have to know how much saying that hurt. "I just had to get it out of my system… and I did." He then walked away without another word.
"Sora!" Kairi's voice snapped Sora out of his flashback. "Are you okay?"
"Huh? Oh… yeah."
"Did you hear what I said?"
"Yeah."
"…And?"
"I…I…" Sora tried to tell Kairi that he loved her back, but he couldn't, and he knew why. "I'm sorry, Kairi, but… I don't love you. My heart belongs to someone else."
"Oh…" Kairi said, obviously heartbroken.
"We're still friends… right?"
"Oh, of course!" Kairi said with a forced smile.
"Thank you, Kairi." Sora said and hugged her before running off towards Riku's house.
Kairi sighed as she took the paopu fruit out of her bag, the one she had been hoping to share with Sora. She then smiled and thought, 'Aw well.'
Sora ran for Riku's house and when he finally got there, he ran up the porch and knocked on the door. Riku's mom answered the door and saw that it was Sora.
"Oh, hello Sora! Riku's up in his room."
"Thanks." Sora said as he entered the house and ran up the stairs to Riku's room. He slowly walked into his room and saw Riku sitting on the bed, typing something on the computer in front of him.
Riku had looked up when he heard his door open and saw Sora standing there. "Sora? What are you doing here?"
Sora walked all the way into the room, closing the door behind him. He didn't say a word, he just walked up to Riku and gently kissed him. When he pulled away, he smiled and replied, "I just wanted to tell you that I love you too."

I know, I know… its wicked short, but I've been in such a Sora x Riku mood lately and I had to write something with them in it! …And playing KHII did not help!
