Prologue
It had been three years since Rei and Nagisa had gradated high school, and they were both currently twenty-one. They had been living together for just over a year and had been married for ten months.
Things were going great for the two of them. Rei was accepted and offered a scholarship to a very prestigious college for engineering. He was thrilled to be attending such a high class college and was very glad for the fact that is was very close to where he lived, so he did not have to leave his home (or Nagasi). Nagasi was also accepted into a college, and, though it was not as fancy as the one Rei attended, he was grateful he even made it into one at all.
They both had part-time jobs and were able to mostly depend on their own income with little help from Rei and Nagisa's parents.
Yes, things were going great for them, until everything started to change.
