Chapter 1
Crash! Clang! Dishes smashed against the dining hall as Frisk angrily shouted, " It's unfair! Nothing will happen between us!"
" Now Francesca, you mustn't behave like this." replied her mother. " Its very unbecoming of you to throw a fit like this." " I don't care!" cried Frisk. "I will not be forced to marry a prince that I do not know and certainly don't love. I'd rather die than do that!
The King rushed in between the two feuding women. " Please calm down, both of you." he said. " Francesca, you know that this is the only way."
For as long as she could remember, Frisk's parents were always in debt. The only way that the kingdom could survive was from leeching off of the other neighboring economies. Because of this, the royal family had to find different ways to pay off their loans, all of which they had exhausted except for one.
" You know that the only thing that keeps us floating is you, right?" said the queen. " As long as we can marry you off to King William's son, we'll be out of debt forever!" But Mother!" whined Frisk. " Prince Chad is so boring! All he ever talks about is hunting and himself. We never do anything fun!"
Her father patted her on her head reassuringly . " We know sweetheart, but just think about how much money... how rich we would be. You'd want that for your family, don't you?"
" I guess." sighed Frisk, getting up from her seat at the table. " That's a good girl." said her mother. " Now hurry up and go to bed darling. You have date with Chad, do you not?"
Frisk sighed again, kissed her mother and father goodnight, and started to walk to her bedroom. Little did her parents know, she would never ever reach the door.
