I've almost always had a soft spot for Trentney. He's so much better for her than Duncan.
I don't own Total Drama.
"Trent, where are you taking me?" the brunette demanded, gripping the sides of the canoe as the dark haired male paddled.
"It's a surprise." he answered with a laugh. "Hence the blindfold."
"This is unsafe. If the canoe were to tip-"
"Relax, Courtney." He said. After a few moments, the rhythm of Trent's paddling stopped, and she heard him rest his paddle across the canoe. "Okay, now you can take the blindfold off."
The brunette did as she was told, and frowned. Staring into the darkness, she frowned. "What am I supposed to be looking at?"
"Wait for it."
And then a hint of pink appeared on the horizon, slowly growing larger and fading into orange.
"It's beautiful!" Courtney said with a smile, turning to the green-eyed musician.
"You know, now that you're here, it's not as pretty as I remember."
Courtney frowned. "What's that supposed to mean?"
"The sunrise isn't quite so pretty when someone so beautiful is present."
Courtney couldn't help smiling. "You're such a sappy romantic, Trent."
"Yeah, but I'm your sappy romantic."
"And that's why I love you."
Even I've gotta admit – this is too cute.
