It's been 2 years since they graduated, they're not in the same college. They barely contact too. Yes, she got a scholarship from one of the universities in California. Meanwhile, he stayed

in Tokyo.

He missed her too much. So he decided to send email for her. "Hey Misaki... How are you doing? How's college? It's so hard to contact you from here. When will you go back to Japan? I

missed you so much... Hope to see you soon, please reply me... I love you "

'If only I could fly to California just to see you right now... I couldn't bear this pain.' He thought.

Too bad situation doesn't allow them to meet...yet. Few days passed, finally she called him. He quickly pick up the phone.

"Hello?" She started. He smiled as he heard her voice.

"Misaki! I missed you so much! Why don't you reply my email?" He sounded worried.

"Oh I missed you too... You sent me email?"

"Yeah, it's so hard to contact you from here so I sent you an email." He shrugged.

"I'm sorry, I was too busy with college stuff and didn't have time to check my emails..." She chuckled.

"I see... When will you go back here?"

"Not sure... I feel homesick though..." Before he could reply, she started talking again "Takumi, class starting now. I promise I'll call you if I have time okay? Love you." She rushed to her

class.

"Love you too Misaki, take care." They both hung up. He was beyond happy to hear her voice even just for a few minutes.

He was thinking of giving little surprise for his girlfriend on their anniversary. He then ordered a ticket for tomorrow's (sudden) flight. After 10 hours flight, he arrived at California. Asked for

hotel room, and went straight to her university.

Hello, beautiful, it's been a long time

He was now in front of the gate, leaning against the wall. Misaki could see his golden hair from where she was standing. She froze.

'Must be my imagination.' She thought. But to make sure she wasn't imagining things, she walked towards the gate.

Since my phone's rung
And you've been on that line

"Hi there." He greeted. She froze.

"Oh my god it is really you!" She hugged him tightly, and cried. He returned the hug.

"I'm so glad that you called me 2 days ago... Happy anniversary." He kissed her forehead.

"You came all the way here just to see me?" She looked directly into his eyes.

"What else?" He smiled and wiped her tears.

"Day off already?" Her voice shaking.

"Nope, not yet..." He shook his head.

"I love you Takumi..." He then caressed her cheek and their lips met. After a while, they parted each other to search for air.

"You cut your hair?" He noticed.

"Yeah, a little bit... You like it?" She shrugged.

"Hmm I don't like it." She gaped. "I love it. Suits you well, Misaki." He smiled gently.
