It Felt So Wrong, It Felt So Right.

Chapter One – Breakfast

It was one of those days. No, One of those months. Everything was going wrong. Charlie had left on some unexpected business trip, Edward still hadn't come back from his hunting trip and the feelings I had for someone I really shouldn't have feelings for were growing stronger...

Pulling myself up from a deep sleep. I sighed as I realized that nor Charlie or Edward was back. Sliding my feet into my slippers I avoided the mirror knowing full well I would look a complete state. I checked my watch, "6:30am". Woah! What am I doing up this early on a Sunday? After a large yawn I decided that I was going to venture downstairs and get myself a drink. Pulling on my dressing gown I trudged down the creaky stairs shocked to see Alice waiting at the bottom.
"Alice!" I gasped pulling my old dressing gown on tighter "What are you doing here?!"
Alice looked saddened by this question.
"Why?" She said with a disappointed tone to her voice "Do you not want me here?" I felt a rush of guilt flow over me. I hadn't meant it like that.

"No Alice, It isn't that at all! You just shocked me!" I exclaimed with a smile "Of course I want you here!" A perfect grin set across her beautiful face.
"Good" She laughed "Because I'm here, and I made you breakfast!" She took hold of my what now felt like burning hand against her cold skin and dragged me to the kitchen. She pulled out a chair and pushed lightly on my shoulders gesturing that I should sit down.
"Alice, I'm really not hungry and we need to get to school" My eyes averted to the mirror across the room. Shocked by what I saw I stood up urgently "Alice! Look at me! I'm a mess! I need to get ready!"
Alice laughed, floated over and took my hands. "Bella. You shouldn't worry so much! We'll be at school on time! Now sit back down and let me give you your breakfast!" Alice then leaned in towards me and whispered in my ear "You're beautiful"
Now I had no choice but to sit down. My legs had turned to jelly and my heart was beating a million times faster than normal...

Swallowing the last bit of breakfast Alice had made me I smiled and pushed my plate away.
"Right, that's it, no more food for a month" I laughed "Seriously Alice, are you trying to make me burst?!"
Alice smiled and took my plate.
"Okay Bella, you got me" Why did I sense a hint of sarcasm when Alice said this? I could never tell when Alice was lying or not. "Pssh, Bella, you're so silly. Honestly. I'm simply trying to make sure you don't get unhealthy!"
"Oh Please Alice, don't worry about me! I NEVER eat a lot. Why do you think you must feed me now?"
"It's just that..." Alice paused for a moment as if to think of an answer "I just wanted to make you some breakfast and thought it would be a nice surprise!" Alice grinned and looking at her, I knew I couldn't argue.
I sighed a contented sigh and rose from my chair.
"Right Alice, I need to get ready for school now!" I said running out of the kitchen upstairs. Sprinting into my room, I slammed the door behind me and flopped onto my bed. What is it about her that makes me feel this way? I sighed a loud sigh.
After getting ready for school I bounded downstairs again to see Alice at the bottom this time holding my jacket. I laughed.
"Thanks Alice" I took the coat from her and put it on.
"Will you be here when I get back?" I questioned.
With a smile she replied "Of course I will be"
I returned the smile.
"Good"
With that I ran out of the door and closed it behind me. Hopping into my truck I muttered the words I Love You Alice...
