This story is not in my main story and not related to it. I only did this to test my hand at one-shots.

Meteor Shower

All was peaceful on the grassy hilltop. Everyone had decided to stop the fighting for one night.

This night was special, special because a meteor shower was occurring. This meteor shower was called the Dream Shower, for those who watched it would have no bad dreams for an entire year.

This shower was supposed to occur every thousand years, but had come early by one hundred years.

On the hilltop were two trees, one large and one medium tree.

Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Cream, Cheese, Amy, Rouge, Vanilla, Vector, Espio and Charmy sat underneath the large tree, Eggman, Decoe, Bocoe and Bokkun sat on the side of the hill and Shadow was leaning back on the medium tree.

Sonic and co. were all talking peacefully and enjoying food that Cream and Vanilla had made.

Shadow had his eyes closed and in deep thought until Sonic invited him over and finally convinced him.

Eggman and his robots had decided to lay back and relax on the grass for a change.

Thirty minutes of waiting and the meteor shower had started.

'Wow!' 'Amazing!' 'Beautiful!' were some of the comments that people had said.

Amy had cuddled up to Sonic during the shower but Sonic decided to humor her had let her stay.

A few minutes into the shower, one meteor moved but stopped in the sky.

'Hey, that meteor is broken!' Cream exclaimed, getting laughs from everyone including Shadow.

The meteor slowly became brighter and brighter.

Eggman realized what was happening and yelled 'Everyone run! That meteor is going to crash!'

Everyone scattered off the hilltop with seconds to spare as the meteor roughly landed on the hill.

Tails was to first to get to the meteor and see it, only a few seconds ahead of everyone else.

When the dust settled and the heat from the entry from space was gone, what was there wasn't a meteor, but a capsule.

Tails rubbed the dust off the glass to see what was inside but still couldn't see.

The capsule opened, causing everyone to jump back in surprised.

Out walked the one person everyone had not expected to come out.

Cosmo.

Everyone was stunned and surprised to see Cosmo here and alive.

The first thing Cosmo did was run and hug Tails.

Tails hugged Cosmo back and said three words.

Cosmo replied by saying four words.
