Morning of Tuesday, March 2 – The Great Hall of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Electricity. That is what the tension among students and staff felt like. The real source of the electrified air was most likely the approaching thunderstorm that was visible through the ceiling above, but one has to wonder if that was the only cause.

There were mixed emotions being displayed by the students. The Slytherines seemed not to be bothered by the previous nights events and continued their morning meal as they always did.

The Huffelpufs were the most nervous looking bunch. The food on their table was barely being touched and many, if not all, were whispering amongst one another, seemingly out of necessity more then anything else.

The Ravenclaws were multitasking and were the only individuals who did not appear to be affected by the revolt, but who were discussing the revolt as if it was a topic discussed in this past weeks History of Magic class.

The Gryffindors were much similar to the Ravenclaws as they managed to both eat and talk amongst each other. However, they were not so reminiscent of the revolt so much as they were anxious to find out what the staff, their professors, were planning on doing and where they were going to go from there.

The staff table was probably the most interesting place to be sitting on this electrified morning. All the professors, with the exception of Snape and McGonagol, were present and accounted for. It also seemed like they were planning on treating this situation much the same way as the Ravenclaws. They were discussing the revolt calmly amongst each other; however the tension was prominent amongst any trained observer. Eyes were constantly shifting along with restless gestures and the seemingly absolute ignorance to the behavior of the students. The most obvious oddity was the absence of the leaders of the revolt. Dumbledore's replacements.

At that precise moment the two in question thundered through the doors and proceeded on making their way to the staff table where they were most likely planning to speak. At least that is what everyone hoped they were planning on doing.
