"The Kiss"

Summary: That "offscreen kiss" that we never got to see at the end of the movie, just before the "Now we leave you the Crystal of Truth" line. The positions of their faces at the beginning of that cut was just right for it, and the way they held each other afterwards spoke of a couple who had just shared a kiss. You be the judge.
"Hold her to you. She is part of you, as we all are part of each other."
Jen was holding Kira's lifeless body in his arms as he stood before the UrSkek, who had given the command. Jen gladly obliged as he closed his eyes and drew her closer to him, hugging her and giving her his last goodbyes. The chanting of the UrSkeks added to the solemnity of the gesture, as it grew louder and reached a peak.
His grieving heart was breaking. Tears ran freely down his cheeks. Here was the only other one of his kind that he knew of, a female, and she had sacrificed her own life to save their world. With her death, so would the Gelfling race finally become extinct. In that sense, the Skekses had won. They had successfully decimated his people. There was nothing left for him to do but to bury his beloved Kira, and then wait to die himself. His success at reuniting the UrSkeks could not lift his heart.
Suddenly, as he held her, he seemed to sense that she had become somewhat heavier. He thought he felt movement - but that shouldn't be! He lifted his face away from her shoulder as her body squirmed in his arms, and her head began to move. It's not possible! He thought to himself, but then her mouth opened slightly and her eyes began to blink open. He couldn't believe his eyes! She was alive! Her previously dull hair and pale complexion that the essence-draining left her with had now been replaced by a healthy blonde and a rosy complexion. Her sunken eyes were healed. Her color had returned to her, and she was breathing in his arms.
She looked up at him, then at the UrSkeks who surrounded the Crystal. She looked back into his eyes as if to say, You did it!
Jen couldn't contain his love for her any longer. He reached down and brought his face closer to hers, and he closed his lips around hers. She responded willingly, closing her eyes, letting him know the love was returned. She reached her right hand around to his back, and placed a proprietary left hand on his chest. Soon their lips parted, as they then both turned toward the UrSkek before them. Jen and Kira tilted their heads toward each other and rested against each other with a look of total satisfaction and happiness.
"Now we leave you the Crystal of Truth. Make your world in its light." Soon the UrSkeks were sucked up in a whirlwind of light through the triangular window in the ceiling, as Jen and Kira both watched from the floor, still clinging to each other. When they were gone, they returned their gaze to the now pure, white Crystal, its energy bathing them in light. Time to go make our world…
