Honeyfern's Thoughts

Berrynose, oh Berrynose,

In pain, so much pain,

It burns, feels like fire,

Leafpool, Jayfeather, someone, help,

I feel like I'm on fire,

Been bitten by a Snake.

The medicine cat comes over,

Says it's just too late,

That the poison is spreading,

And that she just can't do anything.

Everything grows silent,

I can't see anything

Nor hear anything in camp.

I'm gone, killed by a Snake,

Berrynose, poor Berrynose.

We'll never have kits.

I'll never see him again,

Until he joins StarClan,

We'll never be mates,

Never see each other,

Until he joins StarClan,

Until he joins StarClan.

I open my eyes,

I'm in a starry forest.

I look at myself,

And see stars in my pelt.

I've joined StarClan.

Berrynose, my love,

I'll always wait for you,

Until you join StarClan.

Berrynose, my love,

I'll wait for you,

In the starry territory,

Of StarClan.
