I do not own Merlin. I have read spoilers for Season 4 Episode 3. I decided to write a FanFic while waiting for the episode to completely buffer and stuff. Anyway, Hopefully you peeps will laugh ^_^
Fine, You Will Go In My Place

"Merlin, Do not give that expression." Arthur commented sternly to him.
"What if that person with the knife misses?" Merlin asked in a slightly worried tone.
"Merlin."
"You are the future King."
"I'm not going to die." Arthur said flatly as he looked at Merlin. "I'm not going to be killed by the knives."
",But what if that person misses and you found yourself unable to have a heir. The future of Camelot is at stake."
"Fine, Merlin. You will go in my place. There will be no mini Merlin's ever running around if that person hits a certain location of your body." Arthur said as he threw his arms up into the air. "Honestly, I doubt you will ever get married and have any kids. You will go, Merlin."
"What? Me?"
"Yes, Merlin. You shall be in my place for you are making such a big fuss about it. If not I shall go onwards."
"I will gladly go in that case, Sire. I shall go on the wheel of death."
"Merlin do not take that tone with me."
"If I die make sure to take care of Gaius for me." Merlin informed him and he received an irritated look from Arthur. "Seriously, I might die. Knives, a target wheel, and stuff that is just asking for death."
"Honestly, Merlin. You are not going to die." Arthur told him firmly as he looked into Merlin's blue eyes.
"Good bye, Sire." Merlin stated calmly as he walked over to the wheel and Arthur sighed heavily to himself. He watched as Merlin was placed onto the spinning target, two knives were thrown close by Merlin's head, and before the person threw the knife to that apple located in Merlin's mouth.
"Alright that is enough." Arthur said before the knife was thrown and he had Merlin released from the spinning target. To be honest Arthur felt a bit nervous as knives were thrown towards Merlin and his heart skipped a few beats when that knife came very very close to Merlin's head.
"I didn't think you would have me released before the person threw a knife at the apple."
"It is hard to find a good servant." Arthur commented as he looked away while having his arms crossed. "Don't look too deep into it."
"So you do care about me." Merlin said teasingly while smiling at him.
" Shut up, Merlin."
"Yes, Sire."
"And make sure not to waste that apple."
",But it tastes funny." Merlin told him as he looked at the apple. "Of course I'm not a big fan of apples for I recall when I was in the stocks a couple of people threw rotten apples at me. It was terrible."
"Then give it to your horse, Merlin." Arthur commented flatly to him.
",But then my horse might become spoiled."
"Never mind, Merlin. I do not care what you do with that apple."
",but you said for me to eat it or feed it to my horse. So you do care about my apple or you want my apple for yourself."
"Shut it, Merlin. I do not want your apple." Arthur stated firmly before walking away and shaking his head. "Honestly, He drives me crazy."
