Third Person POV;

Staring blankly at an open notebook, Rydel Lynch was having writer's block. Her and her brothers, who belonged to the band R5 were playing the Easter Egg Roll at the White House next week, and she needed to create a new song just for the event. She felt this was important considering the fact that this was the biggest honor the band had ever recieved.

Rydel had no inspiration lately, and she knew exactly why. Kelly Voosen, her best friend, had moved away. Kelly also was dating R5's drumer, and honorary family member, Ellington Ratliff. Now that Kelly was away, she was always down in the dumps, and had no motivation. Rydel had never been like this, and she was fully aware of this.

As for Ratliff, he may have been more torn apart than Rydel. Kelly thought it would be best if they tried to move on, because after all, Washington D.C. was pretty far from LA, and they already never had enough time together when they lived only 10 minutes apart. Rydel began to notice that Ellington, her best friend, next to Kelly, was maybe upset just like she was.

Rydel's POV;

I walked aimlessly through the halls, wondering what I should do next. Me and all the boys had all been upset since Kelly left, and we really needed to get out of this ditch. We were performing the most important show of our career thus far, and all of us were pretty much ready, except Ratliff.

"Riker?" I said, walking into the bathroom where he was currently singing along to a Fall Out Boy song while in the shower.

"Yes Delly...?" Riker said, confusion lurked in his tone.

"Could you help me?"

"Can it wait? I'm kinda in the shower.."

"No"

"Oh Ok.." Riker got out of the shower with a towel wrapped around his waist, and walked into his bedroom and put on clothes, then invited me in.

"How can I help you Rydel?" He asked, still slightly confused by my urgency.

"We need to get Ratliff out of his misery, lets all go do something extra fun tonight!" I said, and a confused Riker stood up from the edge of his bed.

"That is ALL you wanted to tell me Rydel? I thought you actually had a serious issue!"

"Riker, this is serious, now, lets go find Ross and Rocky, maybe they can help!"

I ran out of Riker's room, and quickly found Rocky and Ross wrestling in the family room.

"Guys lets go get Ratliff, he needs some cheering up!"

Ross looked at me, and began to stand up, looking at his phone.

"I think mom invited him over tonight, she must have been thinking the same thing."

I smiled and walked into the kitchen and saw my Mom.

"What did you have in mind, inviting Ratliff over?" I asked her, as she looked up from the pot she had on the stove.

"Oh, well, I thought you and him might enjoy some alone time together, since Kelly left. Bonding will be good for the both of you, since we have the biggest show yet just around the corner!"

I honestly loved the idea of some alone time with Rat, for all the wrong reasons. I could never deny the fact that I had a crush on Ell, and honestly, with Kelly gone, now I had the perfect oppertunity.
