This is my first story I have ever written so feel free to make any comments as you want for I will appreciate it a lot.

Chapter 1

Finally it was night Kagome, had been running off/on all day. "Too nowhere" she kept thinking.

"Back lash run Kagome" after getting ambushed by a group of peasant's Inuyasha had sent Kagome away. "So I wouldn't get hurt HA", he's the one that got the peasants mad. Kagome listened to what inuyasha said and fled from the violent scene. Only to get lost in the middle of nowhere she kept telling herself.

"GREAT" Kagome said in a mumbled, unenthusiastic way before falling asleep on the cold ground.

She woke up earlier then she thought she would have the next morning. Lying there still weak from her journey the day before.

Lying there she thought she saw something. "Crap it's one of those peasants they found me. Kagome spun around only to see a little…a little…thing.

There by the bushes was this black, swirling, shaped thing.

"RUN"

Kagome's mind said over and over again unfortunately her body wasn't listening. She didn't know how long she stood there looking at it but it never moved.

With a swish it came to life and all Kagome could do was scream. The thing took the advantage and within seconds disappeared into her body.

…THUD…Kagome feel unconscious and paralyzed.

…ARG… "What the heck was that?" Kagome said with a grown. Slowly sitting up still in a daze

"Ok so she didn't have brain damage," Kagome said to herself.

Kagome still in agony from falling to the around so hard went to lean against an old oak.

With sear horror she stood there the fine tree began to die as she touched it. Had she done that had Kagome just absorb the energy from the tree.

Walking away making sure she didn't touch anything she walked for hours. " Probably losing my mind," she said out sometimes and to herself.

Seeing a bush of berries she stopped for breakfast only to walk in a trap. Surrounded by the peasants. "STAY CALM"…. Then they attacked her. Stabling her, hitting her with sticks. All Kagome could do to defend herself was curl up into a ball on the ground and scream for help, wishing Inuyasha would arrive and save her only to open her eyes and see utter darkness.

"…What…" She would feel her body being pulverized by the peasants but felt no pain, she felt, heard, smelt nothing all she saw was darkness to.

Then from the corner of her eye she saw something. Kagome turning in time to see a colorful wind thrust her backwards and off her feet then it disappeared and she was falling, Kagome closed her eyes waiting for the ground to come but it never did. She opened her eyes only to see, smell, hear and OW fell the real world for the peasant's were still beating her body.

With a shier cry of pain she felt her miko power's they were stronger. She had never felt this much power before and then a bright lit appeared and disappeared just as fast. There was no pain anymore again the peasants attack had subsided. "Why" Kagome asked herself only to open her eye's to see them lying on the ground unconscious.

Kagome still terrified of the incident all but ran until her heart could take no more. It was night time again and she decided to try to sleep but how could she every time she closed her eye's she would think of million's of question's she wanted answered.

"What was going on with her powers?

" What was going on with her?"

" What was that swirling think?"

She didn't know but she was sure of herself that she was determined to find out.
