The lover of his music,
The notes he cannot hear,
The pain she left behind her.
There's nothing left of him.
Her ghost haunts his memory,
Dancing through his every day,
And plunging him into the water.
Her gentle tones were long gone before she left.
Blonde hair, pink lips,
And the worst of first impressions.
Friend A,
And the wildest of violinists.
Fields and stages are never in the same place.
The competitions never mix.
Yet they try, playing this dangerous game of children.
Playing musical chairs
With nothing but the music and their hearts.
Someone has to be left out.
Someone must leave, every single round.
Dear, sweet little girl,
You, the captain of the baseball team.
Don't become more than 'best friends'.
You hate everything he needs.
You're too young, you know,
Of heart and soul and mind.
Player boy, you can't understand
That attraction and love are completely different.
Don't give up on him yet.
Honestly, he needs you.
But be careful, beautiful flower,
Because he's only Friend A, remember?
And you, yes you, the piano prodigy.
Don't you dare fall in love with her.
Because she doesn't have long left,
And you can't handle another fall.
There are no happy endings.
Every heart is broken.
Because she loves the wrong boy.
Because so many girls turn his head.
Because she's in a hospital room.
Because this all seems like déjà vu.
Four broken souls.
They're children, really.
It was her lie in April.
Because we're not Chopin.
We're not Beethoven.
We're just fourteen year olds,
With our hearts drenched in far too much tragedy.
Will you commit a double suicide with me?

This was written in tribute to 'Your Lie in April', which my sister and I found by repeatedly hitting the 'random anime' button.
What do you think? Like? Hate? Any suggestions? Reviews make my day, so please leave one!
Thanks! Until next time,
