Chapter 1.

~Icepaw's point of view~

Hi there! My name is Icepaw, and I'm the medicine cat of Thunderclan~ Well... I'm the medicine cat apprentice. The medicine cat is Jayfeather, I heard he's a special cat from his brother, Lionblaze! I don't know what he does to make him special, but still, it's pretty cool I have a special cat as my mentor! He's kind of grumpy, but I'm glad to have him as my mentor! As I was walking along,

I heard a cat yell, "Icepaw! You need to come, quick!" I realized Lionblaze was the one calling. I quickly ran over to the medicine cat's den where Lionblaze was sitting near Jayfeather. I couldn't stand the sight, a pool of blood before my eyes, and shook my head.

"Why.."

"A fox came in through a small crack in the den, I couldn't stop it..."

"Do you think I can save him, Lionblaze?"

"I'm not sure... I think it's too late..."

"NO!"
