"WHAT!?"
"Girls.. calm down.." John, father of triplets said. "Professor.." The eldest spoke up. "What do you mean we're moving back to Townsville? We just moved here four months ago!"
"Blossom's right!" Said the youngest. "We've been moving place to place because of your job! And now we're moving back?" Bubbles pouted while the middle child, Buttercup, was currently trying not to explode.
"Are you telling me we moved here for nothing?" She rubbed her temples to calm herself. The Utoniums had been moving around since middle school, when their adopted father, Dr. John 'Professor' Utonium was opened up to more opportunities with his science career. Now was an odd time time go back to the place where they grew up.
"I understand but... I have reasons to go back. I've been talking to your old kindergarten teacher, Ms. Keane, and now that I'm getting older..." The Professor started to stutter with his words as his children look at him. "I'm thinking about retiring and maybe... talking to Ms. Keane more-"
"Miss Keane? What does Miss Keane have to- Oh... that's who you've been talking to at night!" Deduced Bubbles. She clapped her hands together as she jumped. "I'm so happy for you Professor!"
"Retire? But Professor, you love your work!" Added Blossom. "Why would you do that!"
"Well we've been moving so much... and I miss spending time with my kids. Plus, we are financially stable and-" He was cut off by his third daughter. "Dad. We get it, you're a big dork and you love your kids." She starts to chuckle as the all run in to give him a hug. "We love you too, Professor." They triplets said in unison.
"...Buttercup, did you just call him 'Dad?'" "N-No!"
