The Sound of France

The hills are alive with the Sound of France! The Musketeers have decided to create their own musical, to retell the tales of their wonderful adventures! And they cordially invite you, dear reader, to cheer on their - slightly out of practice - charming voices. This is a song fic, so you can certainly sing along to your favorite things - uh, tunes!

Hello, dear reader!
The idea for this story came from another fic I've read by stardropdream called Raindrops on Porthos & Whiskers on Kittens. It's a really cute fic, and it sparked so many ideas in my head, I had to write them down :) Since I'm sick at home, and stuck here for at least another week, I thought I might do something simple but fun, and so was born the Sound of France!
I should warn you, this song fic will contain only songs from the musical ''The Sound of Music'' :) And this chapter is to be sung to ''My Favorite Things''.

I own nothing but my own ideas. The characters belong to BBC's The Musketeers, and the songs, to ''The Sound of Music''.

Now, without further ado, I present to you my signing and dancing Musketeers!

My Favorite Muskethings

Raindrops on Porthos and Athos with kittens,
Bread in the oven with Constance in mittens,
King Louis' packages tied up with strings,
These are a few of my favorite things!

The Muskebaby, grape and honey brandy,
D'Artagnan lodging at Bonacieux' in Paris,
Roger that flies with the moon on his wings,
These are a few of my favorite things!

Queen Anne's gold dress, Musketeers in blue sashes,
Snowflakes that stay on Treville's long eyelashes,
Spring that brings back Aramis' bright smiles,
These are a few of my favorite things!

When Rochefort bites,
Or Richelieu stings,
When I'm feeling sad,
I simply remember the King's Musketeers,
And then I don't feel so bad!
