Looking back on it Renn realized he should have told Sosuke to knock first. At the very least it would have given the occupants time to make themselves presentable. Instead he'd allowed Sosuke to be his usual impulsive self, standing behind him as the door was thrown open. Inside a rather surprised Hant, who was missing his jacket and sporting some kiss swollen lips, stared at them while Gunpei removed his hand from underneath Hant's shirt and glowered at the intruders.
Yes they really, really, really should have knocked. Hindsight was 20/20 after all. Besides if they'd knocked first they might all be off doing something a bit more enjoyable. Like making omelets or convincing Sosuke that Hant had the right idea, disappearing into a bedroom for awhile. Instead he joined Sosuke and Hant at the table in the back room for a talk. Gunpei hadn't wanted any part in the talk and had run off somewhere to mope.
Hant looked even more innocent then normal when he was confused and Renn felt bad for the kid. Renn had once overheard Saki say how Motherly he was towards all of them, he supposed that made Sosuke the father especially considering how protective he was acting of Hant at the moment. One big happy family granted a rather odd picture though.
Renn's attention was brought back to reality when Sosuke started to speak and you could practically see the gears turning in his spikey head.
"Er you see Hant when a man and a woman," he gave a quick glance at Renn "Anou I mean two guys…you and Gunpei…"
He was failing miserably, stuttering and tripping over his words. Hant just sat there and blinked looking completely clueless but nodding. Sosuke turned to Renn for help but Renn only shrugged and held his palms up, he had nothing.
"See it's like bees and flowers. When a flower wants to be pollinated it needs a bee to come and visit its special place," Sosuke paused and struggled to find the right words "Every man has a treasure that he wants to give someone special…"
Hant had his head titled and was tugging on his hair "Anou, Sosuke do you mean sex?" and he'd asked so calmly that the Speed King fell out of his chair.
Sosuke was on his feet in a second though and highly alarmed "How do you know about that?!" He was ready to bolt and track down Gunpei. The other man had already taken advantage of Hant (or that's how Sosuke viewed it) he'd better not have tainted his innocent mind as well.
Hant just shrugged "Saki told me after I asked her why you and Renn were so noisy in your room."
There was no response. Sosuke just stood there staring, his brain broken and unable to comprehend anything. Sighing Renn waved a hand in front of the other mans face and when he found lights on but no one home he started to lead the mumbling leader to his bed "Hant…bed…Gunpei….owie…"
Renn just patted him on the back "Yes, yes I know. It's okay." Looking over his shoulder Renn gave Hant his trademark calm smile "Next time you should probably lock the door. I don't think Sosuke can take another shock."
Poor Hant was left alone, confused and curious. He figured the best thing to do would be to find Gunpei. Maybe then he'd get some straight answers about Sosuke's odd behavior and why Renn was muttering "They grow up so fast!" while sniffling.
