A/N- Just a little tribute to the Black sisters, but especially the youngest one.
Disclaimer- I don't own Harry Potter... obviously...

The worst time in her childhood was not when her mum died- she was too young to understand,
It was not when her father beat her.
It was not when she cowered behind Bellatrix, terrified of his wrath,
It was not when she got detentions at Hogwarts,
It was not when she got hurt protecting little Cissy, when Bellatrix was away at school,
It was not when she heard Bella's screams from her father's bedroom, although that came pretty close,
It was not when she was made to go in there,
It was not when she saw the disappointment in Bella's eyes when she first started dating Ted,
It was not those years when she lived in fear of the man, the monster, in her house,
It was those years when she started at Hogwarts, and left little Cissy behind, with nobody to protect her,
Little Cissy, aged nine, alone in the house with... him... without strong Bella or brave Andi.
Andromeda couldn't concentrate in lessons.
All she could think was-
'I hope Narcissa's okay'
'I hope he isn't hurting her'
'I wish she was here'
'I wish I was there to protect little Cissy'
Hopes and wishes.
They were all Andromeda could hold on to.
Those two years were hell.
The worst years of her life.
She prayed every night,
To a God she doubted the existence of.
It was worth a try.
She silently cried into her pillow,
Thinking of little Cissy.
Bella told her not to worry,
But she knew Bella was just as scared.
They were scared of what would happen to little Cissy.
They met her every holiday,
Held her while she cried,
Protected little Cissy.
It was okay when she was at Hogwarts too.
She was safe.
But until then, Andromeda was scared.
Scared for little Cissy, all alone with the monster.
Her little sister, Cissy.

A/N- Not my best work, but reviews anyway, or else Lucius will make Snape use shampoo... and that won't end well... for either of them...
