The Fainting Spell
I started feeling lightheaded and dizzy, I could see all of the students were staring at me with their eyes filled with concern. I wanted to reassure them, and tell them I was fine, but I couldn't say anything. I couldn't speak. My legs were barely supporting me, my vision was blurring and my ears were ringing. My eyes were directed at the door, someone was standing there, someone I know, but I couldn't tell who it was die to my blurred vision. The person at the doorway was moving closer towards me, he was saying something. His lips were moving, but I couldn't make out a single word he said. My legs then completely gave way, and down I went. All I could see was darkness, all I could hear was the ringing in my ears.
My vision was finally returning, I blinked a few times before I could figure out who was leaning down above me, it was Dumbledore. His twinkling blue eyes were flooded with worry and concern, I noticed that he looked much younger when he was smiling. Once again he was saying something, but this time I heard him "Minerva, Minerva. Are you alright?" he shouted. That's when I realized what was happening. I had fainting in class, I started to blush with humiliation. I looked around expecting to find the whole class staring at me, but there was nobody except for Dumbledore and Severus.
I wanted to get up, to prove to both Albus and Severus that I was fine, I didn't want to admit to weakness. As I started to sit up, I felt that my left wrist was aching. As soon as I put my left hand on the ground in order to get up, I cried out in pain. "What is it, Minerva?" Dumbledore was now starting to really panic and even Severus looked highly worried and concerned. There goes reassuring them that I'm fine, I thought to myself. "It's my wrist, I can't put any weight on it" I confessed as I winced in pain.
Dumbledore forced me to stay on the ground, he started examining my wrist. He took out his wand and tapped it on my wrist and muttered 'Ferula'. Bandages spun around my injured wrist to form a splint. "What happened, Albus?" I asked even though I already knew. "You collapsed in the middle of the class" he answered, "Why were you in the class before I collapsed?" I asked since I didn't remember telling anyone to call him. "Mr. Potter summoned me, he said that you looked very pale and that you just stopped talking in the middle of a sentence all of a sudden" Albus informed me. Severus kneeled down and ran a diagnostic spell on me. "You fainted due to lack of food, and your wrist is only sprained and not broken" he told me. "I shall escort you to the hospital wing, Minerva" Albus insisted. I didn't want to go to the hospital wing, I knew that Madam Pomfrey would hold me prisoner there for two or three days. I started to resist but Albus insisted even more, "Albus, please" I tried again. Severus then left the room after he said "I hope you feel better soon, Minerva". "Alright then, I shall take care of you myself. I will now escort you to my office and I will ask the house-elves to bring us some food" Dumbledore decided. It was better than the hospital wing so I agreed.
This story is really random, I just wrote it in 15 minutes and I know it's bad, but I just felt like publishing it.
