-Remember-
Grimmjow was always forgetting things.
Ichigo had learned a long time ago that he couldn't keep up with dates, times, or anything else important. Grimmjow had always been one to raise a brow in surprise and mutter, "That's today?" He had even once forgotten their anniversary, which was (although upsetting) not at all surprising. Grimmjow just wasn't good with that type of stuff.
The strawberry has tried whatever he could to keep Grimmjow updated- calendars, planners, he'd even resorted to making Grimmjow write everything on his hands in ink pen at one time, though that idea had died quickly during something that they called the 'ballpoint disaster' and that neither of the spoke of.
But, alas, Ichigo had finally found the one thing that Grimmjow wouldn't lose, wouldn't just draw doodles in, and that wouldn't lead to another little 'incident'- post it notes.
And thank the lord for those little things. He and Grimmjow had gone on to buy some packs of them once Ichigo had gotten the idea, and after buying six jumbo packs of small red notes with little strawberries in the corner, Grimmjow had been satisfied. And Ichigo was feeling a little better since he now had faith in Grimmjow's memory.
So it wasn't uncommon to see many small notes hanging all around the house, a few here, a few there. For example, next to the toilet, it may say, 'Buy some more toilet paper, dumbass', and on the counter in the kitchen, you might find a sticky note declaring, 'Fix the coffee maker, dumbass'. Obviously, most of the notes were from Ichigo, and Grimmjow would see them and maybe groan a bit but dutifully follow anyway. Most of the post it's messages held no importance, but they made life a little bit easier.
It was just another day when Grimmjow stretched and yawned, pushing the button on the alarm clock and rubbing sleep from his eyes. He looked around the room and discovered that Ichigo was already getting dressed for work that day, ever the early riser. Grimmjow rolled his eyes at his berry before noticing something sticking to his forehead. He raised a brow and peeled it off, realizing it was a small strawberry printed post it.
In bright, red marker and familiar handwriting the post it read 'I love you'.
Grimmjow looked up to see Ichigo slipping on his pants, not paying him any attention. "Ichi," Ichigo's eyes traveled toward his own, and Grimmjow chuckled. "What's this for?"
Walking over toward his blue haired lover, Ichigo slipped a hand around the back of his head to pull him in for a slow kiss. He then pulled away, letting out a small smile as a blush over took his cheeks. "Just thought I'd remind you."
