Delirium's Reflection

In my delirium I see myself

I see the man who I've become

Before I was an upstanding member of society

Now I'm a pitiful murderer seeking to save himself

I wonder if this is what all men like me see

In their delirium's reflection

In my delirium I see myself

I see the man who I once was

Before I was a nobleman of virtue with a wife

Now I'm a monster who wants to be with her

I wonder if this is what all men like me see

In their delirium's reflection

In our delirium we see ourselves

We see the men who we've become

Before we were pure as heaven

Now we are tainted as hell

We wonder if this is what all men like us see

And so I present you with another Amnesia: The Dark Descent poem. This time I wrote about Daniel and Alexander evaluating themselves, specifically who they once were and who they have become.
