Dead Times
I am still pondering about those bizarre murders in the mountains outside of this city. I mean, it's not unusual to have a murder every once in a while in Raccoon City, but many murders at a time are not right. I've been hearing reports of mysterious people walking around Raccoon City due to these murders, weird.
It was going to be my first day at the Raccoon Police Department. I was transferred here for an unknown reason. So I just kept my mouth shut, and my eyes open. More answers would probably come soon, I hope.
It was dark when I arrived at the Police Station. I saw that many people were still there, so I thought I would start trying to fit in soon. My plan was to meet a lot of people, and get to know them, since I didn't know anyone in this city.
For some reason I was freaked out because some of the lights in this part in the city were out. And for another reason, the streets were deserted.
I walked into the Police Station, and I was feeling better now. Cops were everywhere, so I thought I was safe. As I walked over to my desk I was greeted with a cop.
"Hello, you must be the new guy." said the police officer.
"Yes I am, Greg, who are you?"
"I'm Tom, nice to meet you."
As I shook hands with this man, I got the feeling that he was my mentor.
"So, how has been your stay at Raccoon City?" said Tom
"It's been weird, those lights, deserted streets, it is all bizarre"
"Ah. Yes, the Umbrella Corporation says they have been experimenting with a new electricity device. They say that it is the reason we have been having some weird power outages. And as far as the deserted streets, well I have no clue why they are deserted. Mabey it is because----"
Our voices were cut off by the chief's yell. "Tom, we got a problem over at the hospital, you and the newcomer get over there!"
"Let's go." Said Tom.
We started running over to the armory and grabbing our weapons and vests. I grabbed my special Berretta 92F and my combat knife.
"Suit yourself kid." Tom said as he grabbed his Magnum.
"Niceā¦" I tried to say without being stunned.
"Let's get over to the hospital. Now." Tom commanded.
We abruptly ran to the car.
