The boy ran breathing heavy. He could barely see through the thick night that covered the sky. The boy caught himself slowing down thinking he was out, he was safe, even free. Then he heard the screams.
His face went pale and he spin around quickly. And out the corner of his eyes he saw it and quickly moved back getting his left cheek cut by the edge of the dagger.
Fire swirled out in the palm of his hands and the boy lunges it to the direction where the dagger came from. Seeing the burst of an explosion follow the boy ran cutting through the forest.
Suddenly a dagger it thrown into the back of his left leg. The boy screams while falling to the ground, he scrambles back up whizzing in pain and runs with a bad limp.
"Wow, your the fasts runner I've every seen" said a female voice. The boy looked around but it was to dark to see anything now. "It's funny watching you run" she continues "I wish I could keep you but big brother said I had to many pets. So sadly you have to die." The boy continued to run, but trips over his own foot.
He's vision went blurry and the world around him spines the boy manages to crawl, but pain starts to swell in him with every movement. A whine comes from behind him as the boy turns to look at his attacker. "I really wanted to kill you before the poison did" said the dark figure outlined as a girl.
The boy was in pain he actually wanted to be killed so the pain could stop...so the pain could...NO! he wasn't going down with out a fight.
The girl takes a seat on him and the boy shouts out. "Shhh, it will be over quickly" whispered the girl twirling a dagger between her fingers.
The boy reacts quickly and grabs the girl and gets a clean heavy head shot right at her. Falls back on the floor, but the boy didn't give her a chance to get back up fire swirls in his hands and he throws it at her. She was faster and moved before the fire could touch her flipping backwards. The boy kept throwing aim for her until one caught her on her foot and she fell on her butt.
About to get up the boy moved in with his hand raised toward her. This time he had the upper hand. But the girl didn't seemed anger or said she just smiled and suddenly it came to him that he wasn't the one she looked at.
Before he could turn around a hand grabbed his hair and a sharp dagger pierced his neck.
Blood came out fast his hands grabbed his neck to stop the bleeding but it was to much. He took two steps before collapsing. "Thanks twin brother" said the girl skipping around the boy and her so called 'twin brother'. "Next time don't hesitate" said the guy sheathing his dagger back in his waist belt.
The boy felt his eyes closing growing to heavy for him to control. Until the boy bleed out and died.
