Markus or mark as his colleagues call him is a kind, hard working engine who was built by sixteen year old in the u.s.a. His first day on sodor is his builders first day too. Find out how he works on Thomas's branchline and becomes just as famous as our number one.

the island of sodor is home to both steam and Diesel engines alike.

there are also American engines like Erika,daemon, Casey, Connor, Caitlin, Peter, hank, Matt, and even Maddison. But I think the newest engine will be quite surprising as everyone finds out.

just then sir topham hatt arrived on board Erika Gordon's girlfriend.

good evening engines, the fat controller said.

good evening sir. The engines replied.

As you all know the spring Rush is coming to a close but the summer Rush is coming fast. A young man by the name of Kristoff or whatever his real name was has built a engine to help with the summer rush. Sir topham hatt said.

where is he coming from sir? Thomas asked.

Anyway Thomas I have a assignment for you. Sir topham hat said.

what assignment sir? Thomas asked.

i want you to go to brendam docks tomorrow morning to greet the newcomers. The fat controller said.

yes sir, Thomas replied.

Good night engines, sir topham hat said.

good night sir. The engines replied before one by one they each fell asleep.

the next day Thomas went to brendam docks to greet the new arrivals when he arrived though they were not there.

cranky has the ship that the new arrivals arrived yet? Thomas asked.

No Thomas it hasn't, cranky said. In fact it hasn't come at all.

bother, Thomas said annoyed.

but then a distant horn sounded that was unfamiliar to both Thomas and cranky.

that might be their ship cranky. Thomas said.

yes I say so too. Cranky said. Then when the ship docked a smartly dressed man and lovely dressed woman appeared out off the ship.

This must be sodor. The man said.

yes indeed. The woman replied.

uh can I get off this ship now sir and mam? The engine on the deck of the ship asked.

of-course Markus. The man replied. And cranky set to work unloading the engine from the ship.

hello you must be the new arrivals? Thomas asked.

yes Thomas but everything happens at once I must see sir topham hat so I can get my orders first off. The man replied before muttering under his breath the journey from the states gets bumpier and bumpier.

and when the man had climbed aboard Markus, Thomas set off for knaphord.

markus kept on pestering Thomas about where they where going to at the time.

so Thomas where are we going? Markus asked.

knaphord station. Was the reply.

and this went on until Thomas began to loose patience.
