"Sherlock, I hate it when you try to read my screen."
"What are you doing, then?" Sherlock asked impatiently.
"Filling out an online personality test. Here - I'll send you the link. Do the test for yourself, and again as you think I'd fill it out. I'll do the same, and we'll compare results."
"Why would we do that?" Sherlock wanted to know, as he returned to his seat.
"Because it's kind of fun," John said. "It's either this, or Cluedo."
"Fine," Sherlock answered, rolling his eyes and clicking on the link.
In a few minutes, they had both finished, and John compared the four scores. "Well?" Sherlock asked.
"According to this," John said, "I am a social person who likes the company and energy of others. I'm down to earth, preferring the concrete over the abstract. I'm much more of a feeling than a thinking person, and like to keep my options open rather than make final judgments. You, apparently, agree with that assessment. There's a code for it: I'm an ESFP."
"Hmm. And for me?" Sherlock wanted to know.
"We also agree on your type. You're the exact opposite – you're independent, analytical, intuitive, ignore feelings in favor of thinking, and are confident and decisive. INTJ."
"I could have told you all that," Sherlock sniffed. "We didn't need Myers-Briggs."
