Chapter 1
Yugi ran home as fast as he could. He just couldn't wait to tell them the good news. He rounded the corner and burst into his grandpa's game shop like a whirlwind of energy. 'Grandpa I'm home.' 'He's not here Yugi.' Yugi spun around and through himself at Yami, 'Yami,' he cried out in joy, 'You'll never believe but I won the drawing competition that Pegasus was doing for a new monster dueling card.' 'Congratulations,' Yami replied with a smile, Yugi was the only one that ever got to see him give a compassionate smile. 'But that's not the best part Yami. I've won a trip to San Francisco. There's a really cool museum there that has an ancient Egyptian exhibit. And I'll be on the same plane that grandpa's going on.' Then they heard the door open and close, 'Yugi, Yami I'm home,' Grandpa said in a singsong voice. 'Grandpa.' Yugi proceeded to tell him the exact same thing as he told Yami, 'So can I go please?' 'Well I don't see why not, but you have to keep up with you're school work.' Yugi jumped up 'Oh thank you. Time to start getting packed.'
