Chapter One
Where is she? It's not like Sara to be late. She was supposed to be here almost an hour ago. I'll try calling her again.
As soon as Sara's voicemail picked up Gil closed his phone in disappointment. This was the third time Gil had called her that night. The past two times he called he left her a message thinking she might have forgotten about their date or that she was working overtime, but this time he realized something was definitely wrong. He quickly grabbed his keys and headed outside towards his car. As he turned on some music he realized that Sara must have left her C.D. in his car when they drove to a crime scene earlier. So he took it out of the C.D. player and put it in the case and saw a note on the case.
Go to Ms. Sidle's house and call her cell phone. There will be further instructions from there.
After reading the note, Gil had felt more sick then he had ever imagined possible but there wasn't time for him to worry about that. He had to go and find Sara before something horrible happened.
