I'M BACK!!!(At least pretend you missed me:o)
In the west Texas town of El Paso stood Roses Roses cantina the young cowboy Doyle fell in love with the young barmaid Abby.
One night a new cowboy came in to town wild as the west Texas wind. He threatened Abby's love for the red haired cowboy. So, in anger, Doyle challenged the stranger for the love of Abby.
Down went the stranger's hand for his gun, Doyle's challenge was answered and in less than a heart beat the handsome young Stanger was dead on the floor.
Out the back door of Roses Doyle ran. He mounted his hours, and rode to the East were his family could hide him.
Now it's been so long since Doyle last saw the beautiful young barmaid. With his love stronger than his fear of death, He rode to the west Texas town of El Paso and Roses cantina. He didn't care that a bullet might find him the day Roses came in to view
He had sent word to Abby, three days before, to meet him at the edge of town. With his love in sight he rode on.
Off to his right were five mounted bounty hunters, to his left a dozen more. They were shouting and shouting, but Doyle wouldn't let them catch him.
Something was dreadfully wrong, for Doyle felt a deep burning pain in his side. It started to get hard to stay on the saddle and soon he fell to the ground. He wasn't dead but gave a good appearance of death.
Even with his eyes closed he knew who was Knelt down beside him, it was Abby. What he didn't know was who was thanking Abby for the tip and paying her in gold. Reluctantly, he understood why she had agreed to meet him.
As soon as everyone was gone, he got up and painfully mounted his horse and rode back to the East. Away from the blood stained grass, away from El Paso, and away from Abby.
Ok I didn't get much writing done on my trips. AT night I was to tierd, during the day I was too busy and in the car it made me car sick. But, I did get a thing or two started, and I have lots of ideas so this week I'll really try to make progress on that. And my story status should be up dated by the time this is posted , even if it's not it will be up today. See ya!! :o)
