Lovino has a scheme, and this time his brother will actually be in it. "Feli…" Romano sighed to his pasta making twin brother. "Yes Lovi?" The unknowing twin replied. "Do you think that other countries can tell the difference between us when we aren't talking?" Romano asked, his brother coming closer to comfort him. "Of course they do! Well, I know Ludwig does…. We have different colors of hair silly!" The northern part of Italy proclaimed.
The darker-haired twin decided to change direction, "Do you think tomato bastard and potato bastard could tell if we switched hair colors?" The latter seemed to think for a second, and before saying that he thinks they could, Lovino asked "Wanna test it out, fratello?" Lovino got to the point, using his best brotherly, loving voice. Feliciano wouldn't deny that voice anything. So they began to plan. (More like Romano planned while Feli ate pasta.)

The next day, Feliciano found himself with darker hair and at the door of his brother's boyfriend's house, ready to test out the theory.
"Hola! Come in, come in! Do you want some paella?" an overly happy Spaniard greeted as he opened the door for who he thought was his Lovi. Little did he know, his Lovino was actually hiding in the bushes, watching. "Si! I would love some! Ve~!" Feliciano said, surprising the aforementioned Spaniard. "Huh? Feli? I thought you were Lovi?" Antonio said, highly confused. "Hah! I told you you couldn't tell us apart, tomato bastard!" Lovino said, jumping out of the bushes. "Ah! Lo siento, mi amor! You switched hair colours, so I couldn't tell. Lo siento!" Antonio apologized, running up to his lover and hugging him tightly. "G-get off! And quit apologizing, bastard!" Lovino said, face going red and turning away to hide said red face. "W-Well, now we have to test this out on the potato bastard, so you need to stay quiet about this, okay?" Lovino said. "Si! And I still think that Ludwig will know the difference... I know it!" Feliciano said, not shaken even in the slightest.

Later that day, Lovino was standing on the doorstep of the man who had stolen his brother's heart, waiting for the man to open the door. "Oh, gutentag Feliciano," the German said, formal as ever. "Hello, potato bastard," Lovino said with a scowl. "Huh? Lovino? Why are you here?"
"You really couldn't tell the difference? Ludwig..." Feliciano said quietly. "W-Well, you did switch hair colours... I'm sorry for not realizing..." Ludwig said, at a loss for words. "I thought for sure you would be able to tell..." Feliciano sighed. "I-I'm sorry for being a disappointment to you, Feli." Ludwig said awkwardly. Feliciano suddenly ran towards him, hugging him tightly and crying softly. "No, it's alright. Why should I have expected anyone to be able to tell the difference? We're twins!" The German looked down at his lover softly saying, "F-Feli..." before kissing him sweetly. "Ludwig..." Feliciano said after they parted. "Okay, lovebirds, cut that out before-" Lovino started, but was cut off when Francis, with his uncanny ability to sense love, came rushing up to the couple. "Oh, mon cher, this is wonderful! Your love is indeed strong!" Francis said, hugging the couple and sneaking a grope or two Feli's way. "Big brother Francis! Why are you here?" Feliciano asked, oblivious to the way everyone else reacted to the Frenchman. "Why, I was called this way by the strength of your and Ludwig's bond! ...Okay, actually, Antonio called me to make sure everything was alright over here. Why he called me, I have no clue, seeing as that one over there absolutely hates me..." Francis said, indicating the older twin with his eyes. "H-hey! What are you looking at me for?" Lovino said indignantly. "Oh, nothing..." Francis said nonchalantly.
