Alice Madigan hated moving. She had moved three times in the past year to different spots in the united states, never did she have to change her current school, The East coast USA school for witchcraft and wizardry, otherwise known as The ECUSA school. But this time, Alice's family was packing up, and moving to London, in a little a little non-muggle town called Wagnallville. It was secluded, hidden in a small valley where muggles could not locate it. Only wizards would see the sign that read: "WAGNALLVILLE Population: 1261 WELCOME". To any muggle, the little valley would appear to be a swamp, the sign reading "Beware!"

But being a witch in a long line of wizards, Alice could perfectly see the welcome sign, and all the little houses and shops in the valley from her perch on a broom high above in the clouds. Attached to her broom was a large trunk full to the brim of clothes, books with the pictures moving around, posters, her bedspread, and in her left arm was a little black dog, who was sneezing sparks. On Alice's right her mother flew with Lucy, her little sister, and to her left was her father, smiling goofily. Behind her were some of her family members, some had trunks with them.

"Ah, there's the house!" Mr. Madigan was pointing to a neat house, on a small street between two large brick buildings, one with a sign that read "Batty's books (the best selection of books around!)" and the second had no sign, instead a small sign "Up for sale". Alice looked around at the valley, her last look at all the shops from above before they landed. Then, with a crash, Alice landed on the lawn, her trunk falling off, and the little black dog yelping and running off, next to her father. Her mother and the rest of the family landed behind her.

"Good find, Nick. Nice house." Aunt Nelly took a glance at the house, acknowledging Mr. Madigan, her brother. " We really must be off though." Aunt Nelly was about to turn around with her husband George, Alice's Uncle, when Dad stopped them.

"But don't you want to stay and help set up? "

" The others will be apparating here soon, so we'll just be off." with that Nelly and George set off into the air, Alice watched their retreating figures untill they were out of sight She wished they hadn't left, they were her favorite Aunt and Uncle, and always made her feel better.

Nelly was right, for twenty minutes later, family members had finally started to show up, apparating onto the front lawn with boxes of the Madigan's stuff from home. It wasn't long before all the boxes littered the front yard, and everyone had finally shown up. Uncle Henry was staring up at the house with a funny little grin.

"Well it's nicer then the piece of crap house you had before. Now you're closer to all ah ya' family Nick." Alice finally turned her gaze to the house, backing up to peer up at it.

The house was painted blue, with Ivy crawling up the siding, covering a lot of the blue. A white porch, with some of the paint worn off, stood in front of the house, with boxes piled high up on it. Overall the house was a change for the better.

An hour later, after using magic to unpack all the boxes and put stuff in cabinets and where they should belong, Alice, Lucy, her mom and her Dad sat outside the house waving goodbye as one by one the family members apparated, some of the younger cousins flying on broomsticks home. Alice waved, watching the Weldings who were flying away, when her gaze was diverted to an owl, heading straight for the house. She stood up, the owl landing swiftly onto the porch, and scrambled over to see the mail. The letter was addressed to her from Hogwarts.

A/N: I know there is no Draco yet, but he shall be here soon!
