Author's note: This is a really short story I had a dream about so yea enjoy!

It had been a very long day for the pink haired shinobi yet it wasn't over yet. Being the hokagay's personal assistant was a full time job. Sakura had been working diligently for a few hours, now, at least she could take a break. She walked the streets of Konaha and spotted the famous couple Naruto and Hinata. 'Sometimes I wish I was as happy being single as they are in a couple' she thought to herself. Her life wasn't hard but it was lonely. She continued to casually walk occasionally saying hi to a friend or a shop keeper. The sky began to darken, and clouds began to form. This wasn't odd for Konaha but normally there was some type of warning. "Gee that's odd the clouds are taking a funny shape." Said Sakura not really talking to anybody. She suddenly felt a strange energy, but she wasn't the only one. "HIT THE DECK!" she heard naruto yell. Not wanting to take any chances she slammed to the ground. The next thing she knew she felt a sharp pain in her back and she screamed. She blacked out and was carried by two ninjas in black and red. Sakura awoke in a dark room surrounded, and without weapons. She sat up and looked around, her eyes adjusting to the dark and making out figures. She knew these people, "no it can't be." Sakura was astonished to see her father and her sister sitting in front of her. He father had been running the Akasuki since pane left, and her sister was second in line. "Oh it can Sakura. And it is! Hahahah." Her sister Misirel Haruno smirked evilly as she spoke. That was one of the traits Sakura was glad not to get from her dad. "What do you want?" Sakura asked defensively. Her father smiled and laughed, "Come on cant we come on by and see a piece of the family again? After all you are all that's left." He smirked at his words and smiled waiting for a reply. "That's because you killed everyone else!" Sakura soon realized that's why she was here, they realized she wasn't worth anything and now they wanted to get rid of her. She had to think fast but her mind was clouded with doubt and regret. Well what was she to do, she couldn't run, no one could save her….CRASH! There was a furry of dust around Sakura as she felt herself being picked up off the ground. She was carried a good 7 feet in the air above the building, then, to her surprise, placed on a flattish surface. "I couldn't let them hurt you Sakura," said Gaara of the sand, "I just couldn't." ever since Sasuke left Sakura did take a liking in Gaara. She has had a crush on him for the longest time, but this time it wasn't because that was what everyone else was into, it was because she really liked him. In a way Sakura knew what it was like to be lonely and mistreated. She smiled and hugged Gaara, to her delight he hugged back. "Gaara, umm, thank you." That was all Sakura could really say. "I have to tell you something when we get to Suna." Gaara was very blunt at this point and he was still in Kazakagey mode. They entered the safe walls of Suna and went straight to the tower where Gaara did his work. From the looks of things this was going to business related. They entered Gaara's office in silence and it wasn't broken until the door was closed. "ok, well I'm not quite sure how to start this," Gaara looked nervous and worried so Sakura was prepared for the worst, "Sakura I think I love you." It was as if the world froze at that very moment for the two, and nothing else mattered. "Gaara…I love you too." Sakura said with a smile. They soon had their bodies pressed together and were kissing passionately.
